Shelled pistachios are   seeds contained in the  pistachio fruit  (Pistacia vera).

It is a fantastic  natural fruit , cultivated with particular methods that only an excellent Sicilian farmer can practice, harvested and dried in the sun with traditional methods or under special agricultural greenhouses. 
It contains a high nutritional power, proteins and vitamins, antioxidants, and the product is also used as an ornament on cakes, first or second courses, in the production of cheeses, cured meats, meat sausages, nougats and brittles and other dishes.

Store 13 months in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

In hot periods and with sudden changes in temperature, once the package has been opened, it is advisable to keep it in a hermetically sealed glass can and to put it in the fridge.
